Jeffrey A. Arouh, one of the nation’s leading RESPA and settlement services attorneys, joined the firm as Of Counsel with nearly 50 years’ of experience in real estate transactions, representation of real estate settlement services providers (including real estate brokers, mortgage lenders, mortgage brokers, title insurance underwriters and agencies, appraisers, closing companies and third party providers), real estate operations and related regulatory, licensing, and compliance requirements; corporate and commercial transactions (including mergers and acquisitions); corporate and employee relocation.
He has also acted as an expert witness in various litigated matters involving or related to the United States Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the providing of real estate settlement services, real estate broker operations and licensing, and issues affecting providers and consumers of real estate settlement services.
Mr. Arouh is a frequent lecturer at seminars and conferences where he has addressed numerous legal issues relating to legal compliance, business operations and transactions involving real estate, title, real estate brokerage, mortgage banking and consumer finance. He has been published in HR, Mobility, National Relocation & Real Estate magazines, The Practical Lawyer, and Corporate Relocation News; and he has been interviewed and quoted in numerous industry and trade publications.
